“Le Lanterne” consists of three bedrooms, a lounge area with television, wifi and streaming services, a fully equipped kitchen with plates, glasses, cutlery, kettle, coffee machine, oven, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator with freezer, and a bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. The property sleeps 6 people. Guests will have the whole property to themselves. Towels and bed-linen provided. Private secure parking is available onsite. The property is fitted with an alarm system and security cameras, including surveillance of the courtyard/private parking area. Free street parking is available 50m from the property, with a second free parking area situated 100m further on. History of the house – “Le Lanterne” was built in the mid-19th century, and was recently renovated (2024).  During renovations, original features such as the tiles (kitchen/lounge area) and the exposed stone wall were restored and reused. In the loft space, artefacts dating back to the early 1900s were found, including an old hair-dressing sign, old bottles and toys, a childrens elementary text from the 1930s-40s, and a car magazine from 1936.
Local amenities - The local farmers market is a 5 minute walk from the property, and is on every Saturday morning until 1pm (we recommend visiting early-to-mid-morning). The property is a 5 minute walk to a small but well-stocked supermarket (‘PrestoFresco’, corner Via Maisonetta & Via Torino); a 5 minute drive from a larger supermarket (‘Mercato’, corner Via Torino & Via Martiri delle Liberta, Vaie), and a hypermarket ‘Conad’ is a 15 minute drive away, in Avigliana. Around the area – Sant’Antonino di Susa is situated in the beautiful Valle di Susa. This area is rich in history and is host to a large variety of attractions and other activities including mountain climbing, rock climbing, fishing, cycling (mountain biking and road biking along the recently upgraded bicycle path which stretches ~40km from Alpignano to Bussoleno. Also suitable for walkers). Le Lanterne is situated less than an hour away from popular ski fields of the French-Italian Alps such as Mongenevre, Claviere, Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, and more…
