Locanda Marzi is the perfect match of relax and adventure: it is surrounded by green space and nature, Matese Regional Park is just 5 km away and the B&B offers guided tours by bike or foot. Set in an ancient building, Locanda Marzi offers elegant rooms with free high speed wifi throughout the entire structure, our rooms feature traditional decor and they are equipped with air conditioning and windows on the green surroundings and the mountains of Telesina-valley. L'Agriturismo Locanda Marzi è costituito da un unico grande casolare settecentesco nella Masseria della famiglia D'Orsi . L'Azienda agricola a conduzione familiare è situata nel cuore della valle del titerno ,ricco di storia romana,lontana dal rumore del traffico,coperta da una cornice di monti,(Parco Regionale del Matese) dove è possibile inoltrarsi lungo viottoli e sentieri per suggestive e rilassanti passeggiate alla ricerca del fungo porcino e del tartufo estivo.
Il Parco Regionale del Matese è stato istituito nel 2002 e comprende tutto il massiccio omonimo. Le vette del Parco raggiungono anche i 2050 metri di altezza,con campi carsici ad oltre 1000metri, i visitatori hanno la possibilità di effettuare escursioni con differenti gradi di difficoltà,attività speleologica-visto le numerose cavità ipogee-o semplicemente vivere la natura in un territorio poco alterato dall'attività dell'uomo. La flora si compone di boschi tipici della macchia mediterranea,nel sottobosco è possibile trovare piante officinali da cui si ricavano liquori e digestivi. La fauna del Matese,offre la possibilità di incontrare animali appartenenti a specie in via d'estinzione quali il falco pellegrino o il lupo appenninico.L'attività artigiana è legata alla produzione della ceramica artistica di San Lorenzello e Cerreto Sannita.
