Surrounded by 124 acres of its own vineyards, Locanda Palazzone is just 3 miles outside of Orvieto. It features grounds with swimming pool and panoramic countryside views. Locanda Palazzone is a charming and historic building, built in 1300 in celebration of the first Jubilee. It features spacious suites with original features such as wood-beamed ceilings or hardwood floors. All air conditioned, they also feature a comfortable lounge with flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee-making facilities. A buffet breakfast of homemade croissants, cake and marmalade is served each morning. The restaurant, open upon request, serves a fixed menu of Umbrian specialties for dinner. Free parking is provided at the Locanda, which is only a 10 minute drive from Orvieto Cathedral. It is easily reached from the A1 highway and is 12 miles from Lake Bolsena.
