Matilde Rooms is located on the 3rd floor of an old family building without a lift! The La Spezia Centrale Train Station for the Cinque Terre is just 200 meters from Matilde Rooms, reachable on foot in less than 5 minutes. This property located in the Umberto I° district, offers perfect connections to all areas of the city. It is composed of two units; Black Room and White Room, both equipped with a large double bed and a private bathroom. The entrance is shared with other guests. The Black Room is characterized by an essential and geometric style, with decorative and everyday objects. This room, intimate and young, has a unique contemporary character. The White Room, with its minimalist design, offers a unique atmosphere. The sleeping area and the bathroom are separated by a sliding door and the floating reclaimed wood floor highlights its elegant and sophisticated character.
The building built in 1954 is located in the historic Umbertino district. In Piazza Brin, the heart of the district, the Liberty of La Spezia was born. Together with the proletarian houses, buildings in Art Nouveau style arise which, with their frescoes and inlaid doors, characterize the La Spezia district.
