Palazzo Antico offers a prestigious stay in the heart of Ascoli Piceno. Built in the 1700s, it retains its original finishes, with its massive walls made of local travertine and arches that frame the wide access staircase. Palazzo Antico offers a single room, which can be arranged with either a double bed or two twin beds upon request, with exclusive use of the 55-square-meter apartment it is part of. The property includes: a bathroom, a wardrobe, a kitchen, and a comfortable living area. Recently renovated, the spaces, spread over two levels, feature parquet flooring, modern design furniture, new windows, free WiFi, TV, and a hairdryer. The kitchen area is equipped with self-catering options, including a coffee and cappuccino set for breakfast, which is prepared on-site. A third bed can be added upon request. The building does not have an elevator in order to preserve its historical character. Located in a limited traffic zone, discounted parking rates are available by contacting the property directly.
Palazzo Antico, quiet and elegant, is located in the heart of the historic center, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the city's artistic heritage. It is 300 meters from Piazza del Popolo, 250 meters from Piazza Arringo and the Civic Art Gallery, and 400 meters from the Ventidio Basso Theatre. In just a few steps, you can reach the Roman Bridge, where the romantic walk "Dietro ai Merli" awaits, offering picturesque views of the ancient streets and the Tronto River that frames them. From the windows, during the Quintana Historical Reenactment, you can enjoy the parade of the Piazzarola Sestiere, which, with its red and white colors, transforms Via Pretoriana into a medieval scene.
