Ciao! We’re Anita & Umberto. We celebrated the grand opening of Palazzo Florio on 26 June, 2020 after more than a year's renovation project. Creating the Boutique Residence was a true passion project for us, merging Umberto's construction and renovation experience with Anita's creative vision and design skills. What is our Boutique Residence philosophy? Being avid travelers ourselves, we know the importance of combining beauty with comfort. It's about the breakfast. We want you to start your day in a super-relaxing way, no queuing, no rush. That’s why we pamper you with room service breakfast at your desired time. It's about the beds. Not only must they be beautiful, the mattress has to be super-comfortable. We’ve hand-picked and tested the mattresses, pillows and bed linen. And of course you have the choice between high and flat pillows, or both. Finally, it's about doing our ultimate best to help you have a wonderful time. Whether you’re traveling for pleasure or business, we want your stay to be relaxing and fun! Our boutique residence, situated in the heart of Vasto’s historic city center, was born of our love story. Palazzo Florio was created uniting two historical buildings. The Liberty style facade, dating back to 1924, is protected as Cultural Heritage. So this year, we have an extra reason to celebrate - 100 years! Each of the five rooms is unique. What they share is Liberty-inspired design, lovely city views and our passion for making your stay relaxing and fun. In the morning, we pamper you with a Room Service breakfast and, as for the rest of the day… just ask! We’ll be delighted organize your dream vacation. Our comfortable rooms also feature paintings and photography by Anita. And if you're a wine lover, you'll be delighted to discover that our room service offers a selection of excellent wines. So, whether you’re looking for a beach vacation, cycling holiday, wine tour or a romantic getaway, you’ll find a paradise in Vasto. As you can tell, our Boutique Residence is housed in a very special historical building, and installing an elevator would simply not be possible.

Palazzo Florio Boutique Residence is located right in the heart of Vasto's historic city center. This location is perfect for dining out, as well as enjoying a panoramic walk - the views on the gulf and the beach are stunning. Vasto Marina with its golden beach is a pleasant walk down the road, and on your way back, you get a good workout. If you like cycling, we absolutely recommend visiting the Punta Aderci Natural Reserve. We also recommend taking a scenic tour on the coast. The stretch of the Adriatic coast that runs from San Salvo/Vasto up to Ortona is called the Trabocchi Coast. It’s marked by old fishing contraptions called trabocchi, characteristic of the area. And, if you are into gastronomy, you will love it here. Abruzzo is known as the region for mare e monti (sea & mountain), which also adds variety to the menu.
