Palazzo de Maffutiis was built in 1837 and 6 September 1860, it hosted Giuseppe Garibaldi, marching north with his red shirts. The palace has a courtyard garden and 2 rooms carefully restored in 2015.

The Palace is only 3 km from the Caves of Perth-Auletta who are the only site caving in Europe, where you can browse an underground river. At 35 km from the Certosa di Padula the most sumptuous baroque buildings around South Italy
