Set in the historic centre of Trieste, just 200 metres from Piazza Unità d’Italia, Portacavana is a small, charming 1-star hotel offering affordable rates. With free WiFi , the property is set in the Città Vecchia district (Old City), and features unique design and Art-Nouveau style Featuring hand-painted furniture and exposed, wood-beamed ceilings. Our rooms are located on two floors, one on the first and one on the third. We have no lift or air conditioning, and each room has its own kettle, tea set, hairdryer, TV, fan and umbrella. At Hotel Portacavana you will be within walking distance to many of the city’s more historic sites. Walk to Corso Italia, the Jewish Quarter and S. Giusto Castle. You will be just 150 metres from the seafront promenade. Friendly staff will help you with tourist information and can suggest nearby restaurants.
