The "Secret Garden Chalet" is located only 500 metres from the fine sandy beach and the crystal clear water. The entire property extends over 3,500 square metres with an old tree population, olive trees, palm trees, cacti and a breathtaking sea view. There are many beautiful spots on the grounds that invite you to linger.

The property is located about 500 metres from the beach in a private street. The view of the sea and the coast is unobstructed. On the grounds there are many quiet and beautiful places to linger and relax.

Situated on the Gulf of Taranto, San Pietro in Bevagna is today a sprawling villa settlement that is filled with distinct life depending on the season. Around the once "wild" beach houses and villas, the lovingly restored Torre San Pietro, which is now a church, is the centre of the charming village. Of course, the approx. 10 km long, fine-sand beach of San Pietro in Bevagna and the Ionian Sea are the main attractions. Of course, tourist life has been catered for and there are a multitude of possibilities along the coastal road. But San Pietro also offers the peace and hospitality of the south. Of course, one must also mention the river Chidro, this river flows underground for kilometres through Italy and then comes to the surface in the nature reserve of San Pietro in Bevagna near the sea. The ice-cold water then flows from there directly into the Ionian Sea. In the hot months, tourists gather there to cool off by jumping into the Chidro. The river Chidro is also the protagonist of numerous legends, here in Salento. The story of this watercourse even seems to be linked to Saint Peter the Apostle, who, on his return to Rome, stopped at its mouth to perform his first baptisms for all the inhabitants of what was then Bevagna. Hence the name, San Pietro. Continuing along the coastal road, the path leads through Specchiarica to the next nature reserve. An old saltworks that is now inhabited by flamingos and a biodiversity that is unparalleled. The path leads to the idyllic fishing village of Torre Colimena. There you can find the famous red tuna and of course the Torre. The harbour is old school and worth seeing, and the many fish restaurants are also highly recommended. From there you can continue to Punta Prosciutto with several restaurants and bistros directly on the beach equipped with tables or sunbeds.
