This family-run hotel has the rustic design of a traditional mountain property. It features a number of sun terraces and various gardens with sun loungers, parasols, a trampoline and playground. Rooms have a traditional design and all offer a balcony overlooking the Alps and surrounding valley. Sporthotel Kalcherhof is at an altitude of 1400 metres and offers beautiful views. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet that includes eggs, cheeses and homemade cakes by the in-house pastry chef. The restaurant is open at lunch and dinner and serves South Tyrol specialities and international dishes. BBQs are held in the garden during summer and the restaurant's menu changes every season. The spa includes a hot tub, Turkish bath and a variety of saunas. One of the saunas is outdoors in a wooden cabin with a view of the mountains. Bikes can be rented at the hotel, which also organises horse riding and hiking excursions. Another sauna area with fitness room is set in the Alpenresidence Kalcherhof.
