There are two full furnished apartments for rent, each about 25m². Every apart has a big sleeping room with kingsize bed, a sofa bed for an extra person, a small American kitchen and private bathroom. Both apartments have been renovated recently and are decorated in an authentic but modern, minimalist industrial style. Carefully chosen materials, like wood, natural stones and iron steel, merge harmoniously to a very particular and classy ambiance, which will let you pass a unique and unforgettable time in Vetriera41.
The small townhouse in Via della Vetriera 41 used to be my Grandmother’s house. When I was a kid I used to spend a lot of time there, playing in the street. The idea of Vetriera41 was born from the desire to maintain a sort of connection to my Italian home and roots. I’m Giuseppe, I grew up in Castelbuono/Sicily, now I’m living and working as an architect in Berlin.
It’s located in the heart of the medieval centre of Castelbuono, a small town only 20km away from well known Cefalu. Castelbuono lies in the middle of the Madonie Regional Natural Park, known for its great nature, scenic mountains and exellent cuisine. All historical spots, cultural venues, but also shops, restaurants, bars, doctors and everything else you need for daily life is available in walking distance. Within 15 minutes by car you can reach the next local beach.
