Many important names have made the history of Villa la Nussa. Alessandro Volta has designed the hydroelectric power plant together with Luigi Ciapetti. Roberto Assagioli, founder of psycho-synthesis, has hosted Carl Gustav Jung in the Villa many times. The first document mentioning this place dates back to 1083 where the Castello della Nussa is mentioned. In 1091 the Canons took possession of the structure transforming it into a monastery. The possession of Nussa is confirmed to the Canons by Federico Barbarossa with the Diploma of Lodi on 9 November 1163. Also the Pontiff Lucius III on 4 April 1182 will issue a Diploma of confirmation from Velletri, while Emperor Arrigo VI will confirm it in 1191. Important to know Free parking is located outside in a private area adjacent to the structure
In Tuscany there is everything, not by chance the Etruscans, the Byzantines and the Romans chose it. Rich in historical and religious monuments, the history of this structure is very important, here lived and studied prof. Roberto Assagioli founder of Psycho-synthesis. During his studies, prof. Assagioli frequently hosted psychologist Carl Gustav Jung. In the mid-nineteenth century, Alessandro Volta and Ing Ciapetti designed the ancient hydroelectric plant adjacent to the Villa. In 1162 Federico Barbarossa became guardian of the ancient Castle "La Nussa" situated on the foundations of the current noble structure. La Nussa was built in 1083 near the Alpe di Catenaia and Prato Magno. Casentino is rich in history, art and culture, the splendid panoramic views regenerate the heart and the mind. Much appreciated is the food in the area restaurants. The house offers you the comfort of the beds, the kitchen, the intimacy, the rooms and the space. The accommodation is suitable for couples, lone adventurers, business travelers, families (with children), large groups and furry (well-behaved) friends.
