An independent oasis of calm night, with a bustling day life. Each service available to walk. Convenient public transport of all kinds (bus / tram 10 meters - Metro Station 500 meters - train station 900 metri-- city center 1 km)
CIT TURIN Origins The district develops at the end of the nineteenth century, but the settlements in the area have far more ancient origins, so that in the borders of the district have been found finds of a necropolis of pre-Roman age. The etymology of the name is controversial. The most convincing explanation is that the current district was the very first village outside the city walls, in medieval times: being an independent administrative unit, but practically adjacent to the city, would have assumed the name of "Piccolo Torino" ( male). Other similar theories refer to the Town planning project of the end ' 700, which foresaw this village as totally self-sufficient compared to the historical center of Turin. Another explanation of the name would link to the size of the neighborhood (which is the smallest in the city), but the explanation is not historically acceptable because, in the past, Torino was divided into hamlets and contrade much smaller than it. Characterization Cit Turin has always been considered a residential area of prestige.
