Villa Poletti is owned by the same family since the late 1800s. We recently remodeled and added Central Air Conditioning. The Villa has high ceilings and beautiful antique furniture in every corner. The Living room is very spacious with an indoor/ outdoor living overlooking the lake. The rooms and bathrooms are all impeccably clean and very spacious. Monika our onsite property manager keeps Villa Poletti like it is her home. She will make sure you will find a good bottle of Prosecco upon arrival along with a seasonal fruit basket, coffee for the Lavazza cappuccino maker and the welcome kitchen kit with some essentials for your first day.

I was born and raised in Bellagio. I have worked in high-end Hotels and Restaurants in Italy and US. Being a local makes it easy to connect my guests with the right services and I am happy to share my knowledge and create custom tours to make my guests' vacation memorable. I enjoy going to Bellagio and make every year Villa Poletti even more beautiful. I am happy to open the doors to our magical escape in Bellagio.

Villa Poletti towers over the small village of San Giovanni where we have our private dock. You can rent daily a boat and the rental service can come and deliver the boat to you just a few steps from Villa Poletti. In San Giovanni there are pebble beaches, Ferry Boat landing, a restaurant, playground, a wonderful boutique grocery store, wine bar and great coffee place. In addition, there are three amazing restaurants just 15 minutes by walking distance. If you enjoy hiking there are scenic trails just outside the villa doorsteps. If you are in the mood to explore you may walk 15 minutes to visit the amazing gardens of Villa Melzi or take a half hour stroll to downtown Bellagio.
