Between Langhe and Monferrato, UNESCO Heritage, with a succession of hills starting from the picturesque and wild fractures of the Rocche up to the left banks of the Tanaro river; this is Roero. Indulge yourselves to the vineyards planted with Nebbiolo, Arneis and Barbera to the white truffle, the higly valued meats,vegetables and fruits that faithfully reflects the beauty of each season. An aristocratic area by name, which refers both to the leading noble family of Asti, during the Middle Ages, and to the local landscape, rich in castles and towers.

Property information

The main complex was built in the 1750’s as a farmhouse, but in early 1900’s it was rebuilt into a vacation home by the owner at that time, a Genovese family , who added typical Ligurian details to the building. Villa Tiboldi was purchased in 1995 by the brothers Massimo and Roberto Damonte, owners of the Malvirà winery, who decides to suppliment their growing wine business with the beautiful vineyards sourrounding the Villa and to transform the remaining ruins of the Villa ,into a country house hotel. The rooms where inaugurated on 2004, after 4 years of renovation.

In this world apart, muffled, refined, attentive to the imprint of time and the attention to detail, with the utmost respect for our guests and their wellbeing , you will find our small Relais. Ten rooms and a restaurant, garden and a swimmingpool, immersed by our daily life but yet happily isolated from everything else. Enjoying the atmosphere that reigns this land, capable of inspiring serenity and detachment, so far away from the everyday frenzy, where you will find that the simplest pleasures often lurks in the shadows of an elder flower bush, while overlooking the endless sea of vineyards.
