The neighborhood is a quiet working-class neighborhood. It's just outside the town center, so there is easy access to all needed amenities such as restaurants like KFC, Juicy Beef, and Farmers Jerk Center, bars, supermarkets, clinics, banks, etc. Get fresh, right of the boat, seafood in nearby Old Harbour Bay or go to the local market for your fresh produce, herbs, fruits, vegetables, staples etc. There is also easy access to the T1 toll highway that goes into Kingston in under 1 hour or connect to other popular destinations such as Saint Ann, Portmore, Spanish Town or May Pen depending on which leg of the highway you take.
