It is running by manager Jojo and other two japanese staffs. All of them speak fluent English. Jojo comes from Taiwan and can also speak Chinese. He is major in French and has learned Japanese at the same time. He also learned Vietnamese after graduation. He is very friendly and keen to help others. The guest house is named after a university city in Germany, where the owners Wenjie(Chinese) and Yoshi (Japanese) met and fell in love with each other. Then they get married in Japan and now have two children. The name of this city has a beautiful Japanese name 月沈原, which means the moonset over plain. We will try our best to help you enjoy your journey in Japan and your stay in our guest house. Please don't hesitate to talk with us or share your experience.

Our guest house Göttingen is hotel style with ten rooms. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet. The common space has washing machine with dryer, kitchen, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, oven toaster, etc.

Neighbourhood information

Our guesthouse is very convenient for sightseeing. It's located in the center of Kyoto, walking distance to Nijo castle and Imperial palace. 50 meter away from a bus stop to go to Kyoto JR station, Goden temple, Gion and Arashiyama. Supermarket and the famous Ramen Restaurant "Menbakaichidai" are, respectively, 1 min and 7 min walk away from our place.
