Our guesthouse is away from the main area, but located near Golden Papillon and Kyoto Imperial Palace. The Common Space is a traditional Japanese living room with an inner garden view where you can enjoy our homemade Japanese breakfast (Not available on Tuesday and Wednsday morning.)(Sorry, we are unable to cater for special menu requests - gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.) You can experience the old traditional Japanese house (Machiya). Please relax and enjoy your stay. 【Please Note】 ■The entire building is non-smoking. ■Shower rooms and toilets are shared. (The shower room is outside. So it's cold in winter but the water pressure is strong.) ■Since we are using an old private house (machiya), there is no soundproofing equipment. Please refrain from those who are sensitive to sound. ■To get to the room on the 2nd floor, you have to go up the steep and narrow stairs that are unique to Machiya. Please note that it is not suitable for people with with foot problems. ■Please set the bed sheets by your self. Bed sheets fee are included in the room rate. ■Management of valuables is self-responsibility. The private room has a key, but the dorm room does not have a key. ■Dorm room is available for 12 years old and over. ■There are many delicate glass windows, shoji screens, steps, etc., and there are not enough facilities to satisfy small children. ■Please refrain from entering and exiting the hotel except for guests. ■It is located about 30 minutes by city bus from Kyoto Station. It is a little far from the main area. ■ Please check in between 4:00pm and 9:00pm. ■ Check-in is not possible after 9:00pm. ■ Closed and no staff between 11:30am and 4:00pm. ■ You are free to come and go after check-in. ■ Reservations are required for luggage storage. ■ Kyoto city accommodation tax of 200 yen per person per night must be paid in cash at check-in. ■ Japanese style sleepwear and amenities are available for rent and sale.
