The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Basic Japanese-style rooms overlook the temple compound, and feature a tatami (woven mat) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. The fine print
Guests using a car navigation system are advised to search for Shigisan Kanko Hotel instead of the property name Gyokuzoin to locate the property. The property's parking is located close to Shigisan Kanko Hotel.
Please note that there is no train to Shigisanguchi Station after 18:00. Please go to JR Oji Station, which is a 15-minute taxi ride from the property. If you are travelling from Nara, Osaka or Kyoto areas, JR Oji Station is the most convenient station to reach the property.
The hotel has a curfew at 22:00. Guests cannot enter or leave the hotel after this time.
The bath house is open until 22:00. Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
To eat breakfast and/or dinner at the property, a reservation must be made in advance. (Charges apply)
Guests with a dinner-inclusive plan must notify the property of their preference between a traditional multi-course meal and a traditional vegetarian meal in the Special Request box at time of booking. If the property is not notified, the vegetarian meal will be served.
