Tyler and Mari
Your proprietors, Tyler and Mari, returned from the States in 2005 to save the family inn from being turned into a parking lot. While maintaining the classical warmth and traditional atmosphere, we are adding little touches of Western hospitality such as the fireplace in the lobby, a hand-built outdoor bath made from river rocks and homemade cookies to serve the guests with their tea. Tyler is happy to provide local travel info and to share insight into his adopted home here in the Japanese countryside.
