The property is located on a mountain area that's not accessible after 19:00.
Guests must take a city shuttle or taxi to enter the Kamikochi resort. Parking is not available and guests cannot enter the property in their own vehicles.
Please note the hotel cannot accommodate any dietary/meal requests for vegetarians, food allergies etc. Only Western meals are available on site.
From JR Matsumoto Station:
Take the train bound for Shinshimashima Station (30-minutes) and then take the bus bound for Kamikochi (60-minutes)
From Takayama Bus Terminal:
Take the bus bound for Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal (50-minutes), and then take the bus bound for Kamikochi (30-minutes)
Please note private vehicles are prohibited from entering the Kamikochi area. Guests driving their own cars are required to park their vehicle at Sawando Parking lot or Akandana Parking lot, and take the bus from there.
Please be informed that the gate at the entrance of the Kamikochi area closes at 19:00 everyday. The area cannot be accessed after that time.
Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
