About this property
Boasting various hot spring baths and river views, Kawayu Onsen Fujiya is historic accommodation situated near the Kumano pilgrimage route. Sophisticated Japanese multi-course meals are served. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public area, and parking is offered at no charge. Guests can choose between traditional Japanese-style rooms with futon bedding and modern rooms with Western beds. All rooms are air-conditioned, and come with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. Toiletries are included in the en suite bathroom, and some rooms feature a luxurious open-air bath. Fujiya Ryokan’s hot spring baths are spacious and situated both indoor and outdoor. One of the stylish baths can be reserved for private use at an extra charge. A naturally-made bath on a river bunk in front of the property is also available. The ryokan is a 1-hour bus ride from JR Shingu Station and a 60-minute drive from Shirahama Airport. Sacred Kumano-kodo pilgrimage route is a 25-minute drive away, and the property offers free shuttle to the route. The ryokan serves delicately prepared Japanese multi-course meals. Traditional Japanese breakfast with local ingredients is also offered.
