It was a nice stay in general; however, we would have liked to experience more of the temple. As we paid a high amount to stay there. The part of the morning ceremony we were allowed to experience was very short. The staff did not speak English...

No problems with the Japanese style room with private toilet. Slept well on the futons. The communal showers also have onsens. The vegan dinner was not cheap, but a real experience and tasty. The morning prayers were interesting to attend.

Authentic Japanese stay with nice rooms with a view of the garden. The morning ceremony was spiritual, and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend staying here if you are after an authentic Temple stay.

The location is great - you sleep literally on the grounds of UNESCO World Heritage. You can take part in the morning ceremony with the monks (which was better than expected!), it's clean and warm in the rooms.

Nice bath, really comfortable room, amazing experience. Not crowded. If you get to the morning prayer, you'll get an history of the temple, which is very interesting. Definitely an UNESCO world heritage.

This was a very good temple stay. The temple itself is very beautiful and quiet. The nun and monks were very kind and helpful even with limited English. The Onsen was great and the food delicious. The room was cozy. I recommend.

This temple is located away from the main road of Koyasan which gives it a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating regarding my physical disability. The morning prayer was an exceptional experience, and the breakfast...
