Kyoto Hanatsunagi hotel provides accommodation in an officially designated Kyoto City traditional townhouse ("Kyomachiya"). Guests love our guesthouse for its convenient location, offering easy access to famous sightseeing spots, and for the opportunity to fully experience an authentic Kyomachiya. We offer five free rental bicycles. Kyoto often experiences heavy traffic, so exploring numerous shrines and temples by bicycle is highly recommended! *** The guest room occupies the entire second floor of the facility. A portion of the first floor is used as an office by another business, so guests cannot enter that area. ***

Built in 1895, this shrine with a huge torii honors Kyoto’s past. Its garden blooms in spring, not far off.
