I am the eighth generation since my ancestor, NIEMON-san, started this ryokan in 1867. I have a wife and four children-three daughters and a son. My wife and I used to live in Philadelphia in 1980's to 99's, so we are able to speak English. We love to welcome guests from all over the world!

Niemonya is a ryokan which means traditional Japanese style hotel in English. It opened in 1867. Niemonya will be a good choice if you are looking for hotel that you can experience Japanese culture such as excellent Japanese cuisine, onsen(hot spring), yukata(casual version of kimono), futon, tatami. To accommodate the variety of food preferences, we support vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. Please feel free to ask about our foods. We will do our best!
