About this property
A 10-minute drive from Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryokan Yamazaki offers a hot public bath and serves breakfast and traditional dinners for an additional fee. The Japanese rooms are air-conditioned, and many have garden views. Each room at Ryokan Yamazaki features Japanese-style futon bedding on top of a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Some rooms come with an en suite bathroom. All rooms include green tea and a fridge, and some have free Wi-Fi. Parking is free, and the ryokan is a 30-minute drive from JR Kyoto Train Station. Utano Train Station and Ninnan Temple are both a 20-minute walk away, while Ryuan Temple is a 30-minute walk. A free-use internet PC and a coin launderette are located on site. Western and Japanese breakfast sets are available, as are various Japanese favourites for dinner. A Kaiseki multi-course dinner can also be enjoyed.
