If you are coming to Hakuba to party hard we are not the place for you, you will be much better off staying in Happo or Echoland. 😊 If your intent is to come to Hakuba and experience it as we do as locals, then read on :) We are Shiho and Pete and are the owners. We love the local area around the station, not only because of Shiho`s family multi generational ties to it, but also for the convenience and true local Hakuba flavour. We live in the same area and love that there are several of our favourite places to eat and drink within the immediate area with the supermarket, train station, winter shuttles, shopping are all a 3 min walk away making life very simple. Come experience Hakuba like we do and enjoy our amazing apartment. This newly completed amazing 160m2 apartment has 3 bedrooms, all with ensuites. The master suite has a walk in robe and the ensuite is fitted with an amazing bath with shoulder waterfall and heater that maintains water temp as long as you are in the bath! There is a deck and unbeatable mountain views from Goryu to Cortina. The focus has been on quality not ROI as it will ultimately be our home so its equipped with a huge Miele kitchen, sunken lounge with 77” TV, record player and LPs, 3m+ ceilings. We have fitted it out with furniture and art from our collection and bespoke items including the LED bed heads, dining table and lounge chair. When we travel we love finding art, books, LPs etc in our accommodation and we have provided these here. Your comfort was our priority with underfloor heat, aircon, fans, and opening windows an integral part of this build. In short this is not your typical Hakuba Chalet or Apartment! Hopefully we will meet you soon!
Shiho and Pete welcome you to The Views Hakuba. Shiho is a multi generational Hakuba local whose family has lived and worked for many years in the immeadiate area of the property. Her back ground includes working in her family`s businesses in Hakuba and Ski Patrol in the winters. She is as local as one can be in Hakuba. Pete arrived in Hakuba 9 years ago after a career as an Environmental and Safety Manager in the mining industry which saw him work globally. On arriving in Hakuba he opened up Lucky Petes Café and Bar which quickly become highly rated on Tripadvisor. That same year he met Shiho and they were married in 2016. Since then they have started Hakuba Downtown Apartments which is loved by guests and are now finishing off their latest apartment, The Views Hakuba.
Our guests love the convenience of staying in this area.The supermarket, bus/train station, shuttle stop, locally loved resturants, small local bars, post office and pharmacy are minutes away by walking. For those that arrive by public transport its just a few mins walk to the property and for those that drive there is free onsite parking for one car, maybe more if available.
