京都の中でも陰と陽が合わさる場所。 銀閣寺や哲学の道にほど近い場所に、「うたひ」という宿をオープンしました。 京都で最初に日がのぼる東山は 女性らしいなだらかな曲線をえがきがら北から南へと連なっています。 その一つ、大文字山と呼ばれる如意ヶ岳の麓、銀閣寺から程近い場所に、この宿はあります。 SIONEという工藝ブランドの店。 その店の奥にあるこちらの宿は、大切に選ばれた工芸品やアートワークを楽しめる空間です。 付近の大文字の送り火で有名な「如意ヶ嶽」や比叡山からの恵みであるこちらの宿の中庭には、近年美しい井戸がひかれ、それでいただくお茶はみずみずしく心を満たしていきます。 大切にしているコンセプトは、「感性のひらく宿」 ここに滞在し、光の移り変わりや、風の音、鳥のさえずりを聞く。 お茶をいただき、その器を五感で楽しむ。 すこし言葉を綴ったり、静かに目を閉じてみる。 そうしている間に、自然と感性がひらかれていく、 そのような場所を目指しました。 設計は、空間設計士の水村真理子さんと一緒に、 100年の記憶のある空間と、そこに満ちる気配を大切にしながら、自分と向き合える落ち着きのある、優しい空間を目指しました。 テーマカラーを、ピンクベージュにし、オリジナルの照明や家具も優しい手触りの曲線を描いた無垢のもので仕上げています。 うたひの宿の周辺には、美しい風景と文化がたくさんあります。 愛すべき素敵な場所がたくさんあります。 工藝のショップやパン屋さん、地元の神社や銀閣寺などのお寺、五山の送り火で有名な大文字山をはじめハイキングできる山や、哲学の道など桜並木など、 歩くだけで感性のひらいていく場所。 美しい風景と文化が、暮らしと旅のあわいにあり 日常と非日常が重なる時間をすごしていただけます。 陰と陽のあわいにある、本来の自分。 静かな場所で、自己の存在、 そしてその役目を思い出していただける。 心をひたひたと豊かさで満たしていような時間をおくり 自分と繋がれる滞在になりまように。 心よりお待ちしております。
