Cultural Experiences We provide unique Japanese cultural experiences right inside our accommodation. Since the workshops are held on-site, you can easily join without traveling anywhere else. Some activities are also available in the evening, allowing you to enjoy authentic culture while making the most of your day. Our family-friendly workshops include calligraphy, mini tea ceremony, decorative sushi rolls, temari ball making, onigiri, and more. We are also preparing additional cultural experiences in the near future, so there will be even more opportunities to enjoy. Host Support On-Site In addition to cultural activities, our accommodation is designed to make your stay both comfortable and secure. The host family lives on-site, so you can feel at ease knowing that help and support are always nearby whenever needed. Ideal for Long Stays – 2nd Floor The 2nd floor is perfect for long stays, with a full kitchen for cooking, fresh ingredients from Kuromon Market nearby, many restaurants and shops around, and a traditional public bath just 20 seconds away, directly visible from our property. Built-in bunk beds add both comfort and privacy, making the space ideal for families or groups who wish to enjoy daily life in Osaka. Japanese-Style Comfort – 3rd Floor The 3rd floor allows you to fully enjoy a traditional Japanese room with tatami flooring, shoji sliding doors, and futon bedding made of 100% cotton. Sleeping side by side on futons offers a warm and authentic Japanese experience. The host worked as an interior coordinator for 15 years, coordinating homes and hotels as a freelancer. With this professional background, she also designed the interior of this property with great care, combining a traditional Japanese atmosphere with modern comfort to create a relaxing and welcoming space for guests. After that, she began a second career as a Japanese language teacher and continues to teach international students at a university. Through this work, she has gained extensive experience in communicating with people from many different countries and enjoys sharing Japanese culture with guests from abroad. She also loves traveling and has visited many countries with her husband, cherishing the memories of enjoying authentic local food recommended by local people. This passion for travel and food helps her understand what international travelers appreciate most during their stay. Born and raised in Osaka’s Minami district, she knows the area deeply and can recommend many delicious local foods such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, udon, and oden. Guests are welcome to ask for tips and recommendations on where to enjoy the authentic tastes of Osaka, from hidden local spots to well-loved traditional shops. She is also familiar with traditional Japanese culture such as tea ceremony and kimono, and hopes that guests will have the opportunity to experience these cultural traditions while staying at the property.
