Kojiura-en – Private Dog-Run & Tree-House Cottage
Rent an entire, freshly renovated one-story villa (>350 m² lot) in the Izu Emerald Town hills. You get a fenced dog-run, a real tree-house room, swing, slide, garden, projector and total privacy.
Large gas-BBQ (Coleman). Two 470 g gas cans free; Kit (griddle, tongs, plates, scissors) included—bring food & seasonings.
Sunroom is the only pet zone; bedrooms & tree house are pet-free.
Pets
Up to 2 medium dogs stay free; Large dogs not accepted (guide dogs OK).
Provide breeds & numbers after booking.
We supply crate, bed, bowls. Pick up waste.
Good to Know
Mountain location: detailed route sent the day before check-in. Use Google/iPhone Maps; search “小路裏園” or “貸別荘小路裏園”.
Roads are narrow but handle minivans; Hakone Turnpike closes at night.
Fresh air, forest bathing—and bugs in summer (repellent supplied).
Respect rare neighbors: keep noise low.
Getting Here
Car: Tokyo ⇒ Atami ⇒ Hakone Dairaland ⇒ Izu Emerald Town (Mishima route also possible).
Train: Atami Sta. → 29 min taxi.

Two 470g OD cans will be provided free of charge.
The basic BBQ kit is provided free of charge, but you will need to bring your own food and seasonings. (BBQ equipment includes a gas stove, 2 OD cans, grilling plate, scissors, kitchen utensils, and tongs)
We are located in the middle of nature, so there are some insects in the building during the summer. Please refrain from staying if you are sensitive to insects.

1. Jukkoku Pass
Distance: about 20 minutes by car
Highlights:
From the 770 m summit you can enjoy sweeping views of Mt. Fuji, the Southern Alps, Suruga Bay and Sagami Bay.
The Jukkoku-tōge Cable Car whisks you to the top in roughly 3 minutes.
On clear days you can even spot Tokyo Skytree and the Izu Islands.
2. Dairy Kingdom Oratche
Distance: about 10 minutes by car
Highlights:
Hands-on fun such as cow-milking, butter-making and petting animals.
Soft-serve ice cream and cheeses made with local milk are favorites.
Fully equipped barbecue facilities—no need to bring anything.

3. Roadside Station “Izu Gateway Kannami”
Distance: about 15 minutes by car
Highlights:
A hub for travel information on the Izu Peninsula.
Enjoy regional products and local gourmet treats.
The quirky “yogurt tap” is a popular photo spot.
4. Gekko Astronomical Observatory
Distance: about 20 minutes by car
Highlights:
Well-appointed planetarium plus extensive exhibits on astronomy and earth sciences.
Interactive displays where you can touch dinosaur skeletons, fossils and meteorites.
An engaging learning space for both adults and children.
5. Mentaiko Park Izu
Distance: about 15 minutes by car
Highlights:
Theme park where you can watch seasoned cod-roe (mentaiko) being made.
Plenty of mentaiko-based foods and souvenirs.
Footbaths and a kids’ area make it a hit with families.
6. Hatake Onsen
Distance: about 15 minutes by car
Highlights:
Alkaline simple hot-spring water, gentle on the skin.
Quiet setting with day-use bathing available.
A relaxing hot-spring area loved by locals.
