Beautiful experience not just accommodation. The food is 10/10. Didn’t need to eat lunch. The massage was magical and not to be overlooked or missed.

The hotel has great vibe. Very calming and relaxing. The onsen is private so we really appreciated that. The quality of the mineral water is exceptional. One of the best we've experienced in Japan. But the star of the show has to be the food. The...

This is the perfect little onsen for a visitor to Japan. It’s tiny enough that you feel as if you’re in someone’s home, but big enough to offer lovely facilities such as the baths and a restaurant. A real flavour of Japanese hospitality

Property information

WELCOME TO KANZAN Nestled in between Kanto area(around Tokyo) and Tohoku area(northern part), Kanzan is located in Minakami town with both great accessibility from Tokyo and country side's beautiful scenery of nature. Our location promises a uniquely Japanese experience. Hotel was established in 1961 and since then beloved by Japanese tourists particularly for our speciality, local cuisine and hospitality of family business. we run this hotel with only 6 rooms, because we know the facts that, some authentic great local foods are so rare even for locals, and hospitality of one staff can not be for hundreds of customers. So we stick to being a small hotel.
