In the middle of the Kenyan country side but easy to reach. Simple but very typical and clean countryside accommodation. Enjoy real Kenyan country side with nature, famers, animals and countryside life during the day and stars and silence in the night. 2 houses (one the host family lives in; the other for the guests) in a nice garden with some animals. There is a latrine with possibility to wash. Guest should be aware that the countryside cannot offer amenities which are normal in the city. But exactly this basics and simplicity is what guests enjoy.
Godfrey is a very caring host. Making your stay at his property very special that you feel home and comfortable. Also showing you around in the surrounding area with small hikes to the hill tops, to the river, through farmlands with banana trees, sugar cane fields, small villages etc. He can also take you on tours to nearby sights like the Gogo Falls, an artisan gold mine, Lake Victoria with the fabulous scenery of water, stones and small fisher villages on the shore and the famous and legendary Thimlich Ohinga, an archeological site.
Vey typical and pictureresque countryside area where you can make small hikes to the hill tops, to the Oyani river, through farmlands with banana trees, sugar cane fields, small villages etc. Not far way are many natural and man made sights: the Gogo Falls, an artisan gold mine, Lake Victoria with the fabulous scenery of water, stones and small fisher villages on the shore and the famous and legendary Thimlich Ohinga, an archeological site.
