The camp was started in the year 2006. We have 2 properties . Sunset camp and Olboma Cultural village . Guests has a perfect opportunity of staying at the camp, visiting or also staying at the masai traditional village for an authentic cultural experience .

Sunset Camp, also called ( semadep Mara camp). This is the first camp initiated , owned and run by the local Masai of Mara . The camp started as an income generating activity for a local comminunity Based Organization, the Semadep Foundation. The foundation support the community through numerous projects like health, education , clean water , economic empowerment and capacity building. A big portion of the camp revenue goes to support these projects, particulary the Semadep school . So by choosing to plan your trip with us, you will be directly supporting these community projects .

There is plenty of activities to engage you as our guest throughout your stay. We have a beautiful mountain just behind the camp for hiking and beautiful birds and wildlife. Also there is a masa cultural village nearby for our guests to visit and have an authentic cultura experience . Also have many community projects if you are interested to visit or volunteer. Like the community clinic, the semadep school , water project and so forth. Also you can visit a local market or trading town for more experience .This area is a wildlife area and it is predominantly occupied by Maasai people .
