Birders Urban Retreat is a private residence with two well appointed suites." The flame Back" and "The Purple Coot" to allow gusts ( especially birdwatchers) to enjoy the amazing birdlife that Colombo and its surrounding wetlands offer. Birders Urban Retreat is an open villa with inner courtyards and borders The Baddagana Wetland Park with direct access to the park from the garden.
The property is owned and operated by a retired military officers, an avid bird watcher, naturalist and adventure motorcycle rider whose interest has taken him all over the island and across many continents pursuing his passion.
Property is located close proximity to Parliament of Sri Lanka. There are some well known coffee bars , Restaurants and spas located within 3-4 Kms such as WatersEdge, Spa Ceylon.
