A one hour drive away from the airport and close to Chilaw city, our homestay provides an ideal starting point for your Sri Lanka trip. Located in a quiet and rural area you will be away from any traffic noise.
Hi I am Nerantha, I am 37 years old and will be your host at Elegant Hamlet Homestay. I have been working as a tour guide in Sri Lanka for more than seven years and therfore I can help you to discover our country's nature, wildlife, history and much more. If you are looking for the real Sri Lankan experience including our food, our people and everything else that makes up our culture, lookg no further - you have come to the right place! As we are running this guesthouse as a familiy, you will have the opportunity to meet and live with us like locals. We are looking forward to welcoming you at our home.
To further explore the surroundings we can take you on cycling tours to local temples and other local sights explaining you our culture, traditions and rites. We are happy to arrange one day return trips to Sigiriya, Dambulla, Wilpathu {Safari}, Colombo city tours, Kandy city tours {Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage} and others to explore the country with chauffeurs and air conditioned vehicles.
