Company information
Welcome to our lakeside home. We built this place because we love what the water gives us—both its calm and its thrill. Right next door is our little school where children learn to sail, row, and steer all kinds of boats. Some days you’ll hear their laughter carry across the water; other days, the lake is so still you could hear a feather drop. Both belong here, both make this place alive. We love adrenaline—jet skis, boards, sails—but we treasure peace just as much. Stay with us, and you’ll feel both: the joy of a living lake, and the rare silence that follows when the sun sets.
Property information
Imagine waking up and realizing the lake isn’t “nearby.” It isn’t a 5-minute walk. It isn’t even across the street. It is right there. One step outside your door—literally one meter—and the water greets you. That is the magic of Aquaspot Kaunas. An apartment so close to the lake, it feels like the lake itself belongs to you.
And in many ways, it does. You have your own private beach, your own sauna on the shore, and even a hot tub where you can soak as the sunset paints the water in gold. For those who like their relaxation spiced with adventure, we can arrange stand-up paddle-boards, jet skis, water jets, flyboards and more—because sometimes watching the lake isn’t enough, you want to dance on it.
Inside, the apartment is spacious, modern, and comfortably equipped: air-conditioning, a cozy seating area, flat-screen TV, kitchenette with everything you need. Step out, and you’ll find a sun terrace, outdoor fireplace, and the quiet luxury of simply being surrounded by water, trees, and sky.
But here’s the part most hosts won’t tell you: when you live right on the lake, you live with the lake. Nature has its own rules. Spiders, ducks, crows, gulls—they are part of the neighborhood too. We work hard to keep the apartments spider-free, but sometimes they’re cleverer than us. If one shows up, take it as a reminder: you’re not in a city box—you’re in nature’s front row seat.
The same goes for the water itself. In summer, lakes bloom with life. Sometimes the wind gathers algal blooms and pushes them to shore. It’s not a flaw—it’s nature doing what it always has. The water remains the same living, breathing wonder that drew you here in the first place.
So if you’re looking for polished, predictable, city-style perfection—this may not be your place. But if you crave mornings with ducks gliding past your window, evenings in the sauna with stars above, and the rare feeling that the lake itself is yours—then welcome. Aquaspot Kaunas is waiting for you.
Neighbourhood information
Step outside and you’ll feel it instantly: this is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to live. The building itself rests right on the lakefront, with your own private beach and loungers reserved just for you. And if you wander 100 meters further, you’ll find the city’s beach—a lively stretch with a children’s playground, families enjoying the sun, and the easy hum of summer afternoons.
Surrounding it all is a vast park, a green sanctuary with paved trails made for walking, running, or gliding on the free scooters we provide. Here, mornings begin with birdsong and evenings end under a canopy of trees, reminding you that life doesn’t always need to be rushed.
And yet, culture is just around the corner. A mere 400 meters away stands Pažaislis Monastery—one of Lithuania’s most beautiful landmarks. Within its grounds you’ll discover Motepacis, a restaurant twice recognized by the Michelin Guide (2024 and 2025). Whether you’re drawn to refined meat dishes, creative vegetarian flavors, or brunch with friends under the monastery’s timeless arches, Motepacis offers an experience where every plate is crafted with artistry.
For those who prefer adventure on water, just 50 meters from your door you can board a boat and set out across the Kaunas Reservoir. It’s more than a cruise—it’s a moving postcard of green hills, soaring birds, and fresh summer breezes. Some journeys even lead to Rumšiškės, where Lithuania’s Ethnographic Museum opens the door to centuries past.
This neighborhood is rare. Here, you don’t have to choose between nature and culture, peace and play, rest and discovery. You can have it all—one morning with ducks by the shore, one afternoon in a Michelin restaurant, one evening sailing across the lake. And all of it, just steps from your door.
