Genuine latvian countryside just 25 km from Riga city (!) "Leiputrija" is a holliday house / guesthouse for nature lovers and those looking for some activity. We vote for active and meaningful leisure during daytime and a good sleep at night. At night: we provide our guests with calm stay during nighttime: without loud parties, music and other clamour in neighbouring acommodations. Only those looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay are invited to visit "Leiputrija". During the daytime: ATV tours, canoe tours, go-karts, cycling, walking, shooting, saunas, swimming and so on. The house itself is not big - it hosts up to 12 guests, so everyone will have enough space for privacy. Private backyard, parking place, bonfire place, basketball court, shared kitchen and recreation room are only some of amenities available to guests.
"Leiputrija" is a family-run accommodation and to our family hospitality has always been a natural calling. Any of our family members will be truly happy and proud to welcome You in our guesthouse. Our guests can expect a genuine sincerity and a bit informal atmosphere - as typical to latvians in countryside.
Silent, green and scenic countryside is our fortune. Our "neighbours" are nature preserved areas "Natura 2000", Gauja river (perfect route for relaxing canoe and kayak tours), a former USSR military range (off-road trips are available from our accommodation). There are local and regional cycling routes passing the guesthouse/camping and surroundings are also perfect for taking walks, wildlife watching. Riga city: 25 km Best museums: Latvian Etnographic open-air museum: 22 km, Motormuseum: 30 km Ozo golf club: ~40 km Riga zoo: ~40 km Gauja National park: ~25-45 km (depending on road one takes) Baltic seaside (beaches, Seaside nature park): ~15-25 km Adazi town (wakeboard, tennis center, shops, supermarkets, cafes): 8 km Carnikava seaside town (beaches, Seaside nature park, lamprey festival, train station): 15 km
