About this property

Located in the Old Medina of Fès, Dar Lantana offers a mix of Andalusion and Moroccan architecture, a terrace with panoramic views and a patio with a fountain. It is a 2-minute walk from the Madrasa Bou Inania. Decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, all rooms are air-conditioned and feature views of the terrace or patio and a zellij tiled floor, while some also include a seating area. They are complete with an en suite bathroom. A continental breakfast is served and guests can sample local Moroccan dishes in the dining area upon request. Cooking classes and free Wi-Fi access are also available at the property. Additional features include organisation of tour excursions, an airport shuttle service and henna tattooing. Property information

Anciennement Dar Warda , l'établissement vient tout juste d'être entièrement rénové. Nous l'avons rebaptisé Dar Lantana , nom d'une fleur très répandue au Maroc, cette fleur ornera et sera l'élément végétal dominant de notre toit terrasse.. Nous serons heureux de vous accueillir à Dar Lantana où le maître mot est l' hospitalité et le service ! Notre équipe sera là, à votre écoute pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible et pour vous faire découvrir toutes les richesses culturelles et culinaires de la plus grande médina du monde arabe !

Neighbourhood information

Bab Boujloud ce n'est pas une simple porte, c'est la porte de Fes l'Impériale qui vous transporte dans le passé et les traditions de la plus vaste médina du monde arabe. En franchissant la porte magique, vous quittez le stress du monde moderne et pénétrez aussitôt dans les étroites ruelles animées, à l'abri des voitures et gaz d'échappements. Vous longez de véritables joyaux d'architecture, la medersa Bou Inania, l'horloge hydraulique et à quelques pas vous trouvez une ancienne maison rénovée dans la pure tradition beldi. DAR Lantana est situé au coeur même du quartier El Bali, à deux pas des palais, foundouks(caravansérails), des souks, des petites échoppes d'artisanat, des étals d'où émanent d'enivrantes fragrances d'encens, du four traditionnel et ses effluves du pain fraîchement cuit. Tout participe à l'éveil de vos sens.
