Great value visit to a more secluded camp in the desert. Camel ride fun and 4x4 back recommended. Camp accommodation was surprisingly warm and good standard. Also toilets were fine. Food was much better than expected but, importantly, bring water...

Berber Desert Camp is a traditional Berber tent built for those who want to experience authentic desert camping. at our desert camp, you'll have your private tent decorated with Berber carpets, a comfortable bed, delicious food, and local companions. Keep in mind that we only have external shared toilets and we don't have a shower in our camp ( but you can have a shower in our guesthouse in Merzouga after the desert camping ). Berber Desert Camp is a family-owned and operated business managed by friends. We are Berber Brothers and cousins living in the Merzouga village beside the dunes of Erg-Chebbi. You can spend several nights in our camp and enjoy our activities such as camel riding, desert hiking, visiting Berber families in the desert, Excursion by 4x4, or Quad biking. Do not lose the opportunity to experience a nomad lifestyle once in your life and Spend a night in the Erg-Chebbi desert with the silence in the middle of the Erg-Chebbi Sahara desert.
I'm a native desert tour guide from Merzouga, I live with my wife and my children in Merzouga village. I and my experienced guides all work together we are all Berbers from the same local tribe, born in the desert of Merzouga and most of us speak good English, Spanish, French, and a little bit of other languages. Our aim is to give our visitors an excellent insight into Erg-Chebbi's amazing nature, as well as the Berber culture. Therefore, we create our desert tours according to our customer’s wishes and requirements. We want to be sure that you enjoy yourself and want to show you how beautiful our Sahara desert is. I can’t guide all the excursions myself, as much as I would like to.
