Having worked in the tourism industry since the eighties, I wanted to fill what I felt was a void in luxury self-catering accommodation in Malts's capital, Valletta. Inspired by my travels I, set about renovating a 300-year old palazzo, creating six one- and two-bedroomed apartments.

Property information

The apartments are a tribute to Valletta’s history and its heritage of excellence. They combine space and elegance with comfort and privacy for independent travellers seeking to experience Valletta’s authenticity. In keeping with the spirit of the location, 10 Strait Street is at once modern and functional, romantic and traditional. The property’s position in Valletta is excellent, one street parallel to Republic Street and a minute’s walk from Valletta's most famous landmark, St John's Cathedral. All apartments are exquisitely finished in marble and parquet flooring, with fitted carpets in the bedrooms, wi-fi and air-conditioning throughout and are provided with Cable TV. Each main bedroom has its own bathroom with freestanding bathtub and underfloor heating. Second bedrooms have separate bathrooms with shower. Kitchens are fitted with an electric hob, dishwasher, microwave oven and fridge freezer.

Neighbourhood information

Among the cultural attractions there are museums, churches, historic houses and palaces in Valletta. Numerous restaurants, coffee shops and well-stocked wine bars are a stone's throw away. Valletta's main shopping street is around the corner from the property.
