Interior design enthusiasts will adore this stunning traditional Maltese home, fully modernized with attention to detail and style. Located in a lovely family neighborhood in the oldest part of the village, this beautiful three-bedroom property is just a quick taxi or bus ride to Valletta and the airport. This holiday home isn’t for everyone; we seek travelers—families, couples, or solo adventurers—who desire a "home away from home" experience and will respect our neighbors. If you’re intrigued by local lifestyle, history, culture, and traditions, you’re sure to fall in love with this place. The house combines contemporary design with curated vintage mid-century furniture. Each room features at least one unique vintage piece, such as an armchair or a Maltese typewriter, providing an alternative to mainstream holiday accommodations. The ground floor boasts an open-plan layout, including a cozy TV/lounge area, a spacious living and dining area, and a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. Large windows let in natural light and offer access to a 30 sq meter outdoor space with dining, lounging areas, and a hammock under two lush trees. Up the restored 100-year-old stone spiral staircase, the first two bedrooms feature traditional Maltese limestone flooring. The master bedroom has an ensuite, a bespoke bed with a memory foam mattress, and a private terrace overlooking the garden. The second bedroom has two single beds, a workstation, and a charming open Maltese balcony. Each bedroom offers ample closet space for your belongings, and the third double bedroom is accessible via a contemporary staircase.

Conveniently located just minutes away from Malta’s capital city and the Malta International Airport, Tarxien is one of the island’s local hidden village gems that offers a 'live like a local' experience like no other. The alleyways in Tarxien are gorgeous. Every detail is taken into account - whether it’s the color of the door that matches the flower pots or the pretty relics that adorn the façades, stop and look at the quaint features of a rural village. This village is pretty, really pretty. The churches in Tarxien are tip-top; decorated in the most flamboyant tapestries, rich colors, and other historical treasures - a wander around here just isn't complete without a church visit. Of course, Tarxien is probably most known for its Temples which are both just a minute's walk from the property: the Tarxien Temples where the most complex prehistoric structures on the island can be found and the World famous Hypogeum Temples. The beautiful medieval three cities (Birgu, Bormla, and Isla) are only a few minutes away by bus, and from there one can also take the ferry for a memorable trip to Valletta across the Grand Harbour. Our message to you is to stroll through the streets and hunt down typical Maltese-isms like a rustic bar, a lively band club, or even an old-school baker. You’ll make a ton of travel memories, that’s a promise. The island’s compact size makes exploring charming towns and stunning coastal views easy, while ferry services connect you to nearby islands like Gozo and Comino.
