Property information

Romana Maisonette is named after the Roman Villa at Ramla Bay, Gozo - excavated by Sir Temi Zammit in the 1900's. This luxury maisonette comprises a large welcoming entrance hall followed by a comfortable living area, including a 42 inch flat screen tv (with digital cable service; 90+ channels), accompanied by a large kitchen and dining area with stunning distant valley and sea views. The fully equipped kitchen features a built-in fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, gas hob, electric kettle, pots, pans and kitchen utensils. All three bedrooms are double, including a large wardrobe and chest of drawers with hanging mirrors. Clean bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided. Open area as well as all three bedrooms are air conditioned (cooling/heating functions; pay-per-use). The bathroom includes both bath and shower. A toilette is also available. Free high-speed wireless internet is also accessible throughout the home. Upon request, for the young ones, a high-chair and cot (with linen) can be provided (at no extra cost). This property is licensed with the Malta Tourism Authority: License Number: HPI/G/0234.

Xagħra is built on a lengthy stretch of high ground, northeast of the capital Victoria and is encircled by the beautiful bays of Ramla, Ghajn Barrani and Marsalforn. Historical sites within the village itself include the extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Ggantija temple complex, Ta Kola Windmill, the Pomskizillious Museum of Toys, Xerri's Grotto, Ninu's Cave as well as Calypso's Cave - supposed home of the nymph Calypso in Homer's Odyssey. The central square is home to the parish church dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as well as a number of exquisite a la carte restaurants!! Xaghra is one of Gozo's most picturesque villages and by car you're: 2 min away from the main village square 5 min away from Gozo's most popular sandy beach - Ramla Bay 10 min away from Gozo's capital Victoria (Rabat) 15 min away from Mgarr (Boats to Commino and the ferry to Malta)
