Beautiful big private garden, splash pool, wild birds, 110 meter walk to the beach through a Baobab forest, safe parking, 24 hour electricity (solar), uncapped WiFi. The footpath meanders through huge Baobab trees, planted by inland African traders doing business with Arab boatmen dating back to 400 AD on the Chibuene settlement. The 110 meter walk leads to the beach enclave where ivory tusks were bartered for Persian beads. In this garden you experience the awe of Africa and its history.

I spent a lot of time over the last 15 years when we started building the house to cultivate a garden with mainly indigenous trees and sub-tropical ferns, shrubs and palm trees. The huge trees creates an atmosphere of sitting in a natural theater where nature speaks to you softly. While you enjoy your stay I live less than a Kilometre away from where I could attend immediately to regent requests.

The neighbors comprise of lodges, restaurants and private homes. The are far enough away that you would never hear them or do not worry about listening to you own musing loudly. The property borders onto the main road from the neighborhood going into town. You could catch a local taxi or call for one to pick you up almost arr round the clock. For a fee we could drive you around. The telephone numbers of local taxis are provided.
