Situated in the city centre of Amsterdam and only 1 km away from Dam Square, Amsterdam House of Arts & Crafts offers spacious accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Central Station is a 15-minute walk and offers direct links to Museumplein and Leidseplein in 15 minutes. Guests have access to a communal garden when the on-site gallery is open. Our B&B is situated in a beautiful characteristic building from 1928. Originally built as market storage for the Waterloo square flee market, it is the home of our atelier for handmade shoes, a B&B, work and exhibition space, and workshopspace. The building is situated on the ground floor of a larger building on the Uilenburgerisland.
Amsterdam House of Arts & Crafts is a unique space in the heart of Amsterdam. Here I live & work with my children and pets. In the atelier we make handmade shoes bags & other beautiful items. At Jouw stoute schoenen you can learn how to make your own shoes and bags. In the summer we host different short intensive courses you can attend. You are always welcome to come see what we do at the atelier. Come stay at our B&B and experience a relaxed stay.
Our B&B is located on Uilenburger island in the Center of Amsterdam. The island was originally built to be used as a shipyard, but it was found to be too small, soon it became a well populated area. It is a quiet, nice and easy to reach island.

Please note that the property has 2 entrances. The main entrance can be found at the Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 46. An other entrance is situated at the backside of the building, at Oudeschans 21. This entrance is mainly used for the workshop area and exhibition spaces.
