Our attractive B&B is located in beautiful Limburg, only a couple kms away from the city of Roermond. After thorough renovations, this year we have opened ours doors of our guesthouse in our attractive, 100-year-old house. Guests at our Bed & Breakfast will want for nothing. All rooms have air-conditioning, a 50-inch smart TV with Chromecast, private WIFI network, a UTP port for fixed internet connections, plenty of power sockets, a safe, a minibar, an electric water boiler and an opportunity to make coffee/tea. Each room also has a table with 2 armrest chairs. All windows have roller shutters making it possible to sleep in complete darkness. Most important of all, the rooms are furbished with an amazingly comfortable box-spring mattress covered with luxurious bedding, making your stay at our B&B one of utmost comfort and joy. All rooms are provided with their own private bathroom with toiletries, hair dryer and a luxurious towels. Depending on your choice of room, you have a shower or a bath with whirlpool and bidet. The varied breakfast is served in a separate room and includes freshly baked bread, fresh juice, cereal products, yoghurt, milk, fresh fruits and more.
Service and customer friendliness are very important to me. I want to give my guests a great stay. If you have specific wishes or questions, please let me know. After our 3 children moved out of the home, we, my husband and I, renovated our 100 year old house, by ourselves, for 2 years. Now every guest, just like us, can enjoy the atmosphere and luxury that our B&B has to offer. One of our hobbies is playing Bridge, which is why we named our rooms after the four 4 playing card suits; spades (♠), hearts (♥), diamonds (♦) and clubs (♣). We thought it would be nice to offer our guests the opportunity to practice this mind sport in the evening, upon request. This is possible against other ANNO 1919 guests or against us. If we are unable to play bridge, we will make sure there is a replacement couple available to play against.
Whether you enjoy hiking, cycling, cultural outings or shopping, you will find it all within 5 km. The city of Roermond has a lot to offer in regards to both culture and shopping. The popular Designer Outlet Centre houses over 200 medium to high-end shops. The city center of Roermond is truly beautiful. For example Munsterplein with the Minster Church and the market with St. Christopher's Cathedral. But also the Retail Park and the Home & Garden boulevard are only a few kilometers away. If hiking is more up your alley, the famous Pieterpad which runs for almost 500km going all the way up north to Pieterburen and south to Sint-Pietersberg, is only a short 250 metre walk from our B&B. Route 22 from Swalmen to Venlo (23km) and route 23 from Swalmen to Montfort (21km) cross right through our lovely village. In the neighborhood (within walking distance) you will find a number of good restaurants with enough variety. Going out in Roermond is also possible by train. Swalmen has a train station with trains departing in 2 directions every 30 minutes. You can reach the station in a short 10 min. walk from our B&B. Reaching Roermond is only 7 min. and Venlo is 19 min. by train.
