Property information

We are already 8 years in partnership with Booking. Through all the nice reviews of the past year we have won an award for this accommodation !! We are striving for perfection and have complied with the feedback from our guests and edited a number of small things. We hope to meet you soon in the beautiful surroundings of Giethoorn and of course welcome in our cottage Casa Anne. Also I would like you to know that we this holiday home has 2 bedrooms only reachable with stairs, so one in the soutterrain and one upstairs. No bedroom on the ground floor, that's also for the toilets and bathrooms.

Neighbourhood information

Giethoorn is located in the National Park Weerribben-Wieden, and therefore favored by many tourists. Nature, culture and water sports enthusiasts, both young and old can enjoy themselves in Giethoorn and surroundings. Sailing in the village of Giethoorn On a beautiful summer day you will find also in Giethoorn of all the water that it can float. Giethoorn itself is of course known for its beautiful village canals and walkways alongside. It is an experience to sail the canals or walk along. In addition to the many possibilities of water sports Giethoorn also has great range of museums at (shells gallery Old Earth, farm museum, art galleries), shops and restaurants. De Weerribben-Wieden National Park. De Weerribben-Wieden National Park is located in Overijssel. It is a landscape where predominate water and reeds. This national park is the most important wetland in Northwest Europe. The current landscape of the Weerribben-Wieden caused by the excavation of peat for peat extraction. Traces of these are to be found both in the landscape and in the name of the area.
