Er zijn in de omgeving leuke bezienswaardigheden en activiteiten te doen. Denk hierbij aan bijvoorbeeld fietsen huren, kano huren, wijnproeverij, museum Broekerveiling, restaurants, rondvaarten, een dagje naar Alkmaar of natuurlijk naar het strand! Te bereiken met alle vervoersmogelijkheden. Parkeren is gratis en kan op eigen terrein. Ook openbaar vervoer is goed te bereiken.
