About this property
This family-run hotel is in Balestrand, by the Sogne Fjord. It has a large garden, a private sauna and beach, and panoramic fjord views. Each guest room includes a private bathroom. The reception includes a bar and a nice lounge area. The reception area also offers a pool table and board games available free of use for all the guests. On occasions there will be concerts, stand-up, yoga, bingo and quiz-nights. A daily breakfast buffet is available between 07.00-10.00 for an extra cost, please note that the breakfast is served at our neighbour hotel Kviknes Hotel - a short 2 min walk alongside the Sognefjord. The breakfast buffet can be requested at the front desk at check-in. All of Balestrand Hotel’s rooms have a seating area. Some have a balcony looking over the fjord, while others look back towards the mountains. WiFi and on-site private parking are free. Sogndal is a 1-hour drive from Hotel Balestrand, while Bergen is reached in 3 hours by car. The Nigard Glacier is within 2 hours’ drive.
