Elvestua is a house filled with a cozy atmosphere. Many of my guests point out the good aura and soul the house has. As the night lowers and you can fall asleep to the noise of the river close by, this makes it a magical experience. The house is located in the middle of Senja, a short distance from all the adventurous Senja has to offer. I will recommend reading the feedback from my guests. If my guest wants to rent a car I have an 8 seats Mercedes Viano 4wd. I also offer pickup at the airport or at the harbor at Finnsnes. My personal goal is good service and to help my guest for the best at Senja and Elvestua.

I enjoy the personal welcome of my guests. Then I can show the guests around and come up with good advice and guiding for a great experience on Eventyrøya Senja. Meeting new exciting people is a gift to my life. Every guest should be able to feel at home and I will do as best I can for just that. By profession I am a teacher in children and high school. Previously, I was a psychiatric nurse for 16 years, with a specialty in dementia care and psychiatry. I have a caring heart that I hope guests will appreciate. What my guests want, I will do as best I can to facilitate.

Elvestua is located in the nature, making this a place for peace of mind and the nature experiences are in line. Just beside the house the Hell River flows. Just open the window and fall asleep to the river noise. In winter, this is a lovely place to experience the Aurora Borealis. There is no light pollution in the area. Here you can sit around the fire in the gazebo and follow along. Could it be better? At Gibostad, just 15 mins drive you will find groceries at Joker and Shell gas station. The town of Finnsnes is only 25 mins drive away. Elvestua is centrally located in relation to top skiing in winter and summit trips in summer time. The Senjaf mountains invite you to magical experiences. We can offer many different activities here during your stay. If we can't, we try to get it together with other partners.
