The salmon and sea trout river is known for its rich fishing. It is 5 km to Eikesdalsvatnet, which is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and offers spectacular nature with majestic mountains rising straight up from the water. You will find the famous Mardalsfossen with a total fall height of 655 meters about a 30-minute drive from the holiday home. The waterfall is especially impressive in the summer months when it is at its most powerful. A hiking trail leads you close to the waterfall, where you can feel the spray up close. The holiday home is a fantastic starting point for trips to well-known attractions in the area, including: Aursjøvegen - a spectacular mountain road that winds through magnificent mountain scenery. The road is a popular route for both drivers and cyclists, offering fantastic viewpoints and several opportunities for nature experiences. Trollstigen - one of Norway's most famous tourist roads, is within driving distance from Eresfjord. The spectacular road offers hairpin bends, steep mountains, and dramatic waterfalls. At the top, you will find a viewpoint with fantastic panoramic views of the landscape. Romsdalseggen - a challenging but rewarding hiking trail that gives you some of the best views in all of Norway. The hike takes you along mountain ridges with views of fjords, mountains, and valleys.
